Renee, you wanted a closeup
The wife got a new camera. It is twice the camera for a third the cost. She bought a flash card that will store all the pictures I will ever take the rest of my life. Some ungodly sum that my mind draws a blank on because it was so silly. Paid half the price for for the flash card than we did for the one in my camera that holds about 120 pictures.
And 120 is enough for anything I will do. After that it is time to go back and delete the bad ones.
I had an aunt and uncle who ran a photography studio for years. He took the pictures and she worked on the negative and directly on the picture to remove the imperfections and make people beautiful.
They both died before all the electronic revolution we have seen in the last 20 years. They were wizards for their time. Imagine what they could do with modern equipment.

Looking at old pictures on a rainy day
I'm working on a web site today, And digging out old pictures and graphics seeing which ones can be recycled.

These pictures are from a 2004 block party put on by a group of immigrants who cleaned up a trash strewned abandon lot and turned it into a pocket park for their children to play.
These are all pictures of the people watching a puppet show put on by one of the blocks residents. He learned how by working with his uncle in Mexico as a teenager.

Here is yours truly strapping on the puppet. I had a lot of fun that night.
